Prospective applicants seeking graduate training in Neuroscience and Behavior are encouraged to contact faculty members directly and apply for admission through the Department of Psychology. The UCSD Department of Psychology offers a premier opportunity to learn among recognized world leaders in their fields, consistently ranking among the top Experimental Psychology programs in the nation. Collaborative research is carried out with members of the Departments of Neuroscience, Biology, Cognitive Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Ophthalmology, Linguistics, as well as members of The Scripps Research Institute, and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Both The Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the School of Medicine provide additional neuroscience facilities and training programs.
